We love to work with a neutral palette and nuggets of color, shape, material to add visual appeal. Upon entering a room, climbing a stair, turning the corner, a well-designed home will have a special element to attract your eye, hold your attention and create interest. Throughout this Greenwich, CT home, we distributed unique attractions in each space.
In the living room, the subdued palette comes alive with the deep red throw pillows and the richly hued artwork behind the sofa. The muted palette in the dining room is complemented with the bright white wainscoting and the hand painted finished walls above. My favorite part of this room is the custom mini wine cellar we secreted behind a hidden panel in the corner of the room. Helps keep beverages easily accessible.
Moving into the sitting room, Tully & Klas customized the furniture and the millwork to fit in this uniquely shaped room. The standout feature is the antique Swedish clock with its minimalist, clean lines.
As you head up the extra wide staircase, you are greeted with a composed sitting area. The clients’ existing furniture was reupholstered to complement the hand stenciled wall treatment.
The master bedroom was designed as a serene, calming space for our world traveling clients to land as their own refuge. For busy people, the soft blue palette exudes calm. And, custom built-in cabinetry, closets and even a jewelry safe were designed to make unpacking and staying organized stress free. The spa-like master bathroom is a perfect place to relax after a long trip.
